Aspiranet’s Delta First 5 Center offers services to families with young children ages 0-5. In partnership with parents, caregivers, and public and private organizations, the Center provides sustainable programs, services, and activities that improve children’s health and well-being. Other benefits include advancing children,s potential to succeed in school and strengthening their families’ ability to promote their physical, social and emotional growth.

Parent Education
The Center focuses on educating parents in positive discipline practices, social, emotional and physical needs of young children, and improving their confidence as parents. Pre-natal and postpartum parent education and support groups help parents to identify whether their children should be assessed for developmental, emotional or behavioral problems, a disability or other special needs.

Making Connections
The center’s Community Resource Specialist partners with community service providers to help families receive food, clothing, housing, etc. The CRC also works with families engage with one another.

Community Advisory Council
The Center’s Community Advisory Council, comprised of community members and volunteers, works with the Center’s staff to better understand the needs of families with young children.

The Center provides a toy swap, building of a holiday float, and other holiday events. Volunteers are always welcome, as are donations of books and craft materials. Please contact the Center to learn more about volunteer and donation opportunities.
