The Lisa Project comes to Kern County

The Lisa Project is an interactive multi-media exhibit allowing visitors to experience the life of an abused or neglected child. The purpose of The Lisa Project is to bring awareness to the Kern County community with the hope to inspire and educate its citizens to report abuse to protect children and strengthen families.

The Lisa Project in Kern County is free and open to the public Thursday through Sunday for the month of February at the Bakersfield Heart Hospital at 3001 Sillect Avenue in Bakersfield, California. A 20-minute audio tour guides visitors through a room-by-room open house of scenarios depicting child abuse with narration from a child’s perspective.
