Chris Essary

Chris began his career at Aspiranet in 1987 as a house supervisor on the Excell Center campus in Turlock. He brings nearly three decade of experience in residential treatment for at-risk youth to his post. He began his career as a childcare worker at a small non-profit agency and has served as a house supervisor, program director, administrator and regional director during more than two decades with Aspiranet. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from California State University, Stanislaus. He became part of Aspiranet when Aspiranet acquired the Jack Smith Ranch. The beautiful campus, wonderful homes, and the staff’s commitment to helping kids turn their lives around inspired him. Chris is a single dad raising a teenaged son. He coaches a traveling baseball team and has been actively involved with Little League Baseball as a coach, umpire and league president. Chris and his son Jenson enjoy fishing and riding dirt bikes.
