Experience Corps Bay Area (ECBA) engages older adults (50+) as tutors and mentors in order to increase literacy skills of children in grades K-3. We have been effective in bolstering educational practice in Bay Area schools and our volunteers have been indispensable to our success. Through this generational exchange, children succeed, older adults thrive, and communities are made stronger. Numerous Bay Area community organizations have recognized our track record of excellence in literacy intervention for kids. Here’s how your support can help:
$25 – Help provide one week of mentoring for a student
$50 – Help provide one month of mentoring for a student
$100 – Help train our adult mentors to serve students in need
$250 – Help adopt a student to receive mentoring for an entire school year
Donations of $500 or more can purchase larger ticket items, such as helping stock a school library with books. Any amount you can contribute will go a long way toward helping youth in our schools. Please use the form below to make your donation to support foster youth in transition.
Aspiranet thanks you in advance for your support!
